I have been fiercely independent since I was a child. Moving to the beat of my own drum has been the dance of my life. Never shying away from a lesser known path has been my gravitational pull. And although I have rebelled from following the rules and the conventional conversation of society, making friends and community has always come naturally to me. Traveling and living all over the world, taking risks in my personal and professional life and imagining a better world has been the norm. While I have made great strides in the gastronomy/wine/hospitality world in my 20s and 30s, I find myself deepening my connection to spirituality, wellness and philosophy to be my true dialogue with humanity. Serial entrepreneurial endeavors, cooking/hosting friends, listening and collecting music and bedside poetry and literature are my everyday life.

HOW DO YOU EMBRACE DIVERSITY AND/OR UNCONVENTIONALITY?

Feeding my never ending curiosity with adventure, observation and deep dialogue. Unlearning, unraveling and nourishing the inner and outer world around me. Engaging in the unfamiliar. Meeting conflict and difficulties with great strength and deep faith in love. Kindness is the greatest and most universal language, let’s not forget to smile.

HOW DO YOU EXPRESS YOURSELF CREATIVELY?

My studio is the kitchen. Cooking. Baking. Preserving. Test kitchen-ing.

HOW DO YOU THINK YOU CAN CONTRIBUTE TO THE COMMUNITY? WHAT DO YOU FEEL YOU ARE AN EXPERT IN AND COULD GIVE ADVICE TO THE COMMUNITY ON?

My diverse background from working in the art gallery world to building my own baking company in Los Angeles. Running Michelin restaurants in NYC to consulting and advising in hospitality all over the world. From Business development and quality to control to finding a holistic approach to building profitability. Deep dive into ancient philosophy and medicine in India. Climbing mountains in Peru. Studying yoga and nutrition for over 15 years. Forever remaining a student.
